Comercial Vessels

General Purpose Hand

Can crew any commercial vessel within Ports, Internal and Territorial Waters of Malta, in accordance with the Manning Requirements of respective commercially.

Boat Master Grade 1

Qualification to serve as Master on a commercial vessel of less than 24 metres in length, within ports, internal and territorial waters of Malta. This certificate does not include an engineering qualification.

VHF – DSC SRC

Radio communications certificate of operators – Specifications of minimum standard of knowledge, understanding and proficiency for RT (VHF only) Operators (S.L. 399.35)

Fire Fighting

This course is for seafarers designated to lead a fire team on board ship and for those requiring certificates of competency.

First Aid

This course is for seafarers designated to provide first aid on board ship and for those requiring certificates of competency.

Engineering

Engince Driver Grade 2

This course is based on the guidelines, suggestions, and requirements of TM Model Course 1.05

Engine Driver Grade 3

This course is based on the guidelines, suggestions, and requirements of TM Model Course 1.05

Small Craft Deck

Nautical Licence

To give students the required knowledge to be able to operate a vessel in Maltese Territorial Waters- 12NM from a safe haven.
(Vessel may be a boat or Jet-ski of 30HP or more / up to 24m in length)

Recreational Skipper

If you want to cross to Sicily or sail around the Mediterranean basin, than this is the licence you need!

IMO Oil Spill Response

IMO Oil Spill Response – Level 0

IMO OPRC – Basic Awareness and Handling of Small Spills This course is intended to provide a general introduction and awareness to all those involved in marine, port and offshore operations that may lead to a release of pollutants.

IMO Oil Spill Response – Level 1

IMO OPRC Level 1 – Operational This course is designed for all personnel who may be called upon to respond in an operational role during an oil spill response including at-sea, in the air, on the shoreline or inshore, on-land.

IMO Oil Spill Response – Level 2

IMO OPRC Level 2 – Tactical Level This course is designed for all personnel who may be called upon to manage and direct spill response operations. It is aimed at Incident Commanders, On-Scene Commanders, Supervisors and all those working in an incident command centre responding to an oil pollution incident.
